Excellent interview from a few months ago. Zizek argues the transformation of the Russian Revolution into its opposite was “the greatest ethical catastrophe” in human history. It’s failure made the world question “Is freedom possible?” Can we move beyond state-capitalism and build a theory of total revolution that will prevent any form of oppression from resurrecting itself “after the revolution?”
